I hate posting two but I'm not sure which one I like better:

My daughter is just SOOO amazed when she wakes up and sees that Santa had ate her little snacks for him. After the fact, I can think of one or two little things that really would complete the picture; folding the letter to/from Santa to show what it is. C/C welcome.

Not that these are great photos, but the "story" behind the last photo is what gets me...

"C" = little girl
"N" = little's girls mother

"N's" father was diagnosed with a rare & terminal cancer 2 1/2 years ago. He died within 6 months of his diagnosis. "N" was unwed when she became pregnant and knew her father would disapprove, however, when she told him, he simply said "okay, I'm going to have a grandchild" and went on... "N's" dad "should have died" sooner... he waited until "C" was born (which was a full 2 months early... with NO indication of pre-term labor). "C" was born the day "N's" father was put in Hospice. "N's" mother went back and forth from the maternity floor to the hospice floor... He died two days after holding "C"... "C" is now 2 years old and EVERYTIME she sees a picture of her grandfather, she hugs and kisses it... she's done this since she was old enough to walk and get a picture off the table... She doesn't do this with anyone else's photograph.
