Canon EF 2.0X III Telephoto Extender

I see this is just out, and I am wanting it to go with my 300 f/4. Do any you have one yet, or know how good this is supposed to be compared to the II series?

    You know it won't auto-focus with the 300 F4 on your cameras, right Dan?

    I do not know about that one but the Nikon TC 20E III is very nice. The Aspherical elements really make a difference over the 1.7 that I used before.
    But I am starting off at 200mm f2 on the lens I use so it give 400mm f4 and the auto focus is great. I have a Kenko 2x that I have used on other lenses @ 300mm f4 with less than stellar results but I am sure that the Canon model is up with the Nikon

    Yea, I just figured that out, Joel. That would be a deal breaker for sure.
