Love the shapes, textures, angles, workers, and contrast.

Richard, your work is an example of a well-thought out image. Great job! thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifthumbthumb.gif

While I also really like the texture to this shot, it also makes me realize just how tedious their work is.
Also where were you when you took this shot--looks like you were much higher than just standing infront of them.

lol3.gif Yeah, six stories higher to be exact. For the past two years, they have been working on reforming a plaza in front of my building and every now and then I take some shots from my terrace. It's a weird POV but some of them have turned out to be interesting. I don't think I could have gotten the geometry in this shot from ground level. As for the work, it amazes me how quickly they are able to cover a substantial area.

Hey, got any pictures of the snow? I saw some video shot in Brooklyn this morning on the net that was pretty amazing.

I just posted about a short series.

About the quick workers on your shot, it looks like the work would take forever.

    It's not tedious, it's a meditation. mwink.gif

And I really like the photo - nice lines.

30 months and counting. It was supposed to take 18, but they uncovered some Roman ruins and that changed the plan. I think it's going to be nice when it's done, though.

You continue to be the master of composition. I love the diagonal lines leading to the circular pattern of the bricks and the placement of the workers. Well done!

Thanks rainbow. I wasn't sure the string would show up as well as it did.
