Testing out my new toy

Went to the park today for a quick test of my new toy. Still getting used to the focusing and everything, so they may not be so good. I used the EF 50mm f/1.8 II for these photos.

What could I have done to this one? I thought it was a good idea at the time, but looking at it now, I'm not really a fan of it. :scratch

Hopefully I can get used to the focusing soon. Thanks for any comments.

    Last one is my choice as well.

    Perhaps on the first one you could have gotten lower? Or maybe a bit more angle from the left?

    For the middle I think I would have framed this straight on maybe? Dunno, works good the way you have it.
