My parrot alarm went off and I found this Coop sitting in tree outside our
kitchen window eyeing my feeders. Shot this thru double pane with the
100-400. Too close to open window without spooking.

My alarm goes bananas with any sitting of a raptor.

The other day the Cooper's Hawk swooped thru the yard and a Mourning
Dove panicked and hit the window.

Last Dec. a Barred Owl eyed the parrot as dinner. It hit the window then sat seven in front on a wire as I flashed it about 20 times.

Thanks Ric, don't remember if it saw it, might of been in another room. If it
did it would of had a heart attack.
Edit: Now that I remember the parrot came walking into my room after I
heard the thunk on the window. So he quickly vacated the area.

The dove crashed to the patio below and after about five minutes stopped
moving and looked expired. It was gone in the morning with no evidence left
behind so maybe it came to and left. But a cat might of got it.

Really cool! I love that last shot. You have a lot of action in your neighborhood. Bet your parrot is never bored. Best, Pam
