    Yeah, this thing doesn't mess around. It throws the snow with such force that the pine trees get all their needles knocked off...those big chunks you see are as big as baseballs and some are even bigger!

    You should see what's on the front of a train. I saw a video of it clearing tracks on Donner Summit in California and it was making very short work of 8' deep snow.

    Don't worry...they don't shoot it over the houses...although, it may look that way. They use huge dozers to push all the snow into gigantic piles in parking lots. When they have time to come back they demolish the pile with a dozer and this bad boy. The snow is shot into the woods.

    Thanks...the contrast between the blue and the white was what caught my eye and made me want to capture it.

    The sun was low on the horizon and the light was great...of course in AK at this time of the year the sun is always low on the horizon! :D
