    It's been a few years since I ventured over that way, last time I did there were hundreds of Eagles, and very little open water beneath the dams. It's quite a sight to see.

    Thanks Jeffro and Maestro. I've really been looking forward to the "eagle season". I went down to the locks a couple of weeks before the holidays, but the eagles will be in full force in Jan and Feb. Last year I shot with a 70-300 VR; this year I bought the 300mm f/4 just for this :):)
