This one barely misses, I think. The excitement and joy are captured quite well, but the trophy is hard to make out in all the background clutter. Maybe if you had been a little further to the left...
I get the excitement of a team of girls winning something.
It did take me a bit to find the trophy and then figure out what it was--basketball right--well the uniform and setting also helps with the identity of the sport.
I don't imagine it was an easy shot to take at all and still capture so many of their faces etc.

Perhaps left might be better, BUT then probably get two or three backs of heads instead of faces.

I think you did a good job on this.
Thanks, Liz, for again recognizing the challenge and matching it with the results. I am surprised that you and Richard initially missed the trophy since the radial pattern of arms led to it.
I posted this photo as "street" because it required my street/pj skills to get this capture. I knew that this "decisive moment" would arise and be quick. I had to be willing to insert myself right next to the girls and hold the camera high with one hand, shooting at 17mm. I felt fortunate to capture both the emotion of the moment and (barely) the entire trophy.
