Happy New Year!!

And here is a mixed bag of shots, having holiday lighting as a common theme. All are HDR, done with my newly-licensed copy of Photomatix (no more trial-run watermarks!), using 6-7 RAW exposures 2 stops apart.

1. Nubble Light again, on the last night of its holiday lighting, but this time with a twist - a reflection of the beacon in a nearby puddle on the rocks.

2. How often do you see a lighted Christmas tree made of lobster traps? Only in New England! This one is in York, Maine, very close to Nubble Light. The orange cast came from a nearby streetlamp.

3. Reflection of thousands of Christmas lights on the frozen pond at La Salette Shrine in Attleboro, MA. The large crowd passing the lights gave Photomatix a ghost-reduction nightmare! I had to clone out about 100 dark spots in lights that had been passed by people.
