    In the end, I took the s95 and 7d+50mm+flash (the 7d in case I suddenly needed off camera flash, since I could use the built-in commander). Didn't need to bother - I think I took maybe 25 pictures with the 7d (some baby shots, with bounced flash), and the other 600 or so were all taken with the s95. Which ROCKS.MY.WORLD.

    Fill flash (oh, how I love being able to dial back the FEC even in a PnS!)

    At dusk you can even bump it up to iso 1600 - some noise, but entirely useable when shot in RAW and run through LR3.

    It slips easily into a pocket or bag and with it in its case I could leave it round my neck, but by tucking it under my scarf or into my jacket didn't even have to look like a tourist :D

    This thing is FANTASTIC and absolutely wonderful as a walkaround, pocketable camera!
