Advice for Creating a Large Banner for Gym?

Hi all,

I know I've seen in a previous thread in this forum (which I cannot now find) there is someone out there that has created banners, one for each of the players of a team, and had them hung in the gym. I am working on a similar job for a local hs basketball team, but instead of one banner for each player we're creating a themed poster which they want to blow up very large and hang in the gym. Has anyone done a job like this before? Advice?

I have a mock up of the banner done right now, at a high resolution, currently about 40" x 25" in PS. I'm assuming I could enlarge that to a much larger size? (sorry kind of clueless on the whole resolution/enlargement issue).

So my questions are:

- any recommended printers? should I go local (of course they need it asap)
- should this be printed on a material-type banner for best results and low-glare?
- what should I expect to pay for something like this, say it's printed 6' x 4'?
- will my resolution stretch to that large of an image?

Any advice, especially if you've done this before would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks so much!
