My vintage box camera is more of a shelf ornament but I did spend a couple of hours last year making a tube for it. :lol3 So I figured I might as well give it a go.

Here she is:

And a few shots in and around Potrero Hill in San Fran on New Year's Day. A stairway walk is pretty much the perfect thing to do on a quiet national holiday when everything is closed.

I don't have a macro lens so for TTV photography I use an 85mm f/1.8 with an el-cheapo Zeikos close-up filter.

If you've dabbled with TTV I'd love to know what works for you!

Cheers and Happy New Year!

Cool! That looks awesome, and it's only when I picture you with two cameras, trying to focus one and frame with the other, it sounds really cumbersome. I'd love to see a pic of you taking a pic. :D

lol3.gif It definitely doesn't look sexy, that's for sure. And you get to train your grip holding both cameras. You have to block external light because otherwise you get all kinds of ghosting and awful reflections.

One afternoon I took two $1 sheets of foam, electrical tape and made this.

So now you know how it's done. One day I would love to put film in it but I am too lazy to try re-spooling 120 onto a 620 spool.
