Problem with a user adding comments

Hello,

Well I've set up my pro account and have actually received a few 'comments', either for an image, or through my 'guestbook' link I've set up.
My question is has anyone else experienced a problem with an individuals 'comments' not getting generated or being added? My friend claims to have added 2 comments this morning, while I was speaking to him on the phone, and he walked me through the steps he took, so I know he clicked the link 'add comments' etc. I have not been able to view them. Also, I tried doing this myself (as a guest) and my comments WERE successfully added.
His browser was IE - mine at work is too. Anyone?

    have you looked in your control panel, perhaps you have "comment approval" turned on? this means, you have to approve the comments before they get to be seen on your public pages.

    Hi Andy,
    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately that's not it - I had checked in my control panel for this. I HAVE gotten comments from others though. He swears he followed the steps while on the phone with me. I thought I had read another thread here about someone who experienced something similar, but a 'search' didn't yield anything.

    just left you some comments, first ones using firefox and then one using i.e. i can see them, so it seems to be working find ....

    Yes it does - I received them, thanks for taking the time to try it out.

    Now to talk to my friend to see what he was 'really' doing...
