SM Bulk Downloader Caption Issue

I just used the built in bulk downloader on several galleries and the captions didn't come with the photos.

I've used this before and it worked, is there a glitch recently with it?

    Are these captions you added on SmugMug? Or captions that are in the metadata of the photos ?

    Added in smugmug (the ones that didn't download with the images)

    Right, they won't come back with the photos you download using our facility. Captions that are embedded in your metadata will come back to you.
