Very cute photos, but the first few are definitely too soft for me (looks like you did a lot of cloning?). As for the last one ... seen that shot many times, and boy do I know it's a hard one to get, BUT it does look nicer if the baby is all sleepy & relaxed

Pretty darn good for your first time! Not bad at all, you made it look easy.
My nit is that some seem over saturated for my taste, and a tad soft. A few the face seems softer than other areas..if I have that issue sometimes I just sharpen the eyelids a tiny bit. Wonder how these would look in b&w?
I love #2 , it's unique in my viewing experience. It made me chuckle out loud!
The others are a little more derivative, but good examples of the idea. I don't like the close-ups so much. I think the "niche" is a little too blocked and contrasting in all.

D3s, D500, D5300, and way more glass than the wife knows about.
