These are really sweet. Gotta say though, that the little guy reflects my feeling perfectly about his "adornment" in #5. I appreciate the variety of moods created by your lighting choices.

A nice series for sure. Not a fan of the selective colours though, so 90's. #4 is a favourite, only because he hasn't got the ornament stuffed in his mouth, otherwise #3 would have been. Would love to see #6 in full colour as I think his jumper would fit right in with the present.
I like 3 thru 6, especially 3. The b&w is classic. Have to agree about the selective color though.

However to my taste the lighting is a touch too subdued, too shadowed, too serious for such a bouncy subject and jolly season.
I think of strained-for, serious and studiofied shadows as being like hdr - fashionable, addictive, overused and abused.wink
