Thanks Phil - only included #1 as an "it was here shot" - rather suprised to see an orb web spider with web about now but didn't get a chance to change the camera settings or shooting angle before it was back in the foliage with lunch.
Mind you didn't expect to find the hoverfly either after the recent cold spell.
