You did a wonderful job on this one. May I ask what kind of lighting did you use?

Thanks, Mary. I used a regular study lamp with a 60 Watts incandescent bulb. Then I placed a thin fabric of white handkerchief in front of it to soften the shadows. On camera RAW file, the image is really yellowish (since the bulb is not that powerful and it is not daylight balanced. I adjusted the white balance to retain the actual color of the eggs and the white color of the cartolina paper that I use as my background. Hope this helps, Mary.

Thank you very much for the nice comment, Dave. I've learned a lot of new things while doing this experiment. This is my first time to use artificial light. Regarding the handkerchief, I thought that could mimic the principle of a soft box since I really don't have any lighting equipment with me. It was fun doing this.

THanks for viewing, TenThirteen. On this image I did it the other way around. Before I decided to make the image, I drew it first on a piece of paper. I knew that shooting eggs on a white paper is very plain so why not create some story? My idea was "envy". So, I decided to use 3 eggs, the 2 on the front would be kissing and the one on the far background is envious because he doesn't have a girlfriend. And that's the story behind the title and the shot.
