Your second parrot looks nice and sharp but feel the image is let down by the out-of-focus one in front. Such vibrant colours you've caught, did you get a picture you didn't cut off his tail feathers? Thanks for sharing.

Yeah i did, tempted to upload it but it has the two of them slightly out of focus. It seems for some reason these older Tokina lenses, the area it will focus on is like dead center in the middle of the lens or a 5mm circle around the center and everything outside of it is out of focus, so far in my experience. I want one of those newer DX lenses with ED, but no $$$ yet, so doing this.

I might also upload the tail feathers one in a bit.

And as per request, here's the one with tail feathers, just like the first one, you can click on it to load the full size, if you wish:

I think if I'm mid-way to 3/4 of the way of the lens's total zoom distance, the focus seems to be the best, this was approximately 150mm - 175mm focal length on this lens, seemed to get more area of focus better. I'm still learning.... Always learning...

Thank you for the correction, I just do my best to attempt to capture something well right now. I just know it looks pretty, i don't know technically what they are. :D
