Lovely capture of a beautiful subject. My only nit is the centered comp.

I finally saw (and attempted to photograph) one of these in Little Desert National Park about two weeks ago. I keep looking at this picture, then at the best of my attempts... and mine doesn't even look like the same species.

A tighter crop with off center subject using the rule of thirds would help the visual impact of this image. Taking some BG off the left side along with a little off the bottom and just a tad off the right might be nice.
Interesting bird. Lots of interesting birds we never see here in Florida (US). Thanks for sharing.
Due to popular demand, here is the cropped version.
But thought I'd include some more images, still centered, but couldn't help that as they are full frame to start with so not much room to more
This final one is actually a different sub species from Western Australia, instead of Queensland. They breed in holes in the sand that they dig, and take turns catching and delivering insects to the young. With how busy this pair were, I'm assuming they had 2 in the nest, but I wasn't getting any closer to check.
Hope you like them. And thanks for the comments so far.
