'Tis a fine and noble thing you have done! My only nitpick is I would lighten up the vignette a bit. The blackness slightly overwhelms the richness of the other colors.

FlyNavy, that is terrific. I don't think blur is needed, but a texture would really boost this shot. If your OK with it, I'll edit it and post the result?

To create this image, I used 2 textures that I applied as layers in photoshop, changed the blend mode to Soft Light and altered the opacity to give me the effect I was after. Note: each texture is B&W so as not to change the colour (well nearly B&W, one has a slight brown cast).
