The Mule Deer are moving down from the higher elevations preparing for winter. I'm fortunate to live close to one of the hay fields they like to feed in during the early fall.

You are maybe fortunate to live there, but you used your skills to take advantage of that fortune by taking some nice pics. I especially like the third.
enjoy being here while getting there

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great captures Steve,I realy like the little spike buck.I have deer in my field all the time and its kinda cool to have moving lawn ornaments.I was out on friday and shot a couple of young moose just down the road.Something other than birds :):
The mother was just far enough in the bush that I couldent get a shot of her,the little ones here however didn't mind having there pic taken at all. That will change come nov 1 when the hunting season starts.Ive had people ask me if they could shoot on my land and I always say sure, just as long as the only shooting you do is with a camera :D ..All the best....ice
