OK, my wife and I have tons of photo's of our kids we want to digitize and upload to smugmug for safe keeping. I know there was a way to scan multiple photo's at once and have photoshop save them into their own single layer. Anyone know how to do this. Also, what settings should I set my scanner at to get the best results?

Here are the instructions: Crop and Straighten Scanned Photos
The settings should be whatever your standards are for archiving, like 300dpi 16-bit ProPhoto RGB TIFFs or 8-bit sRGB JPEGs. If you're not sure what settings you should be choosing, try scantips.com.
