10F to 15F weather is perfect for snowflake photography. These images were taken with a Canon 5D Mark II attached to a microscope.
The snowflakes are picked off a black table with an small artist brush and carefully placed on a microscope slide for it's photograph. Everything must be done in the cold, so your fingers get a bit stiff, but, seeing each flake for the first time is amazing.
