"Upsizing" with Perfect Resize (Genuine Fractals) or other tool in Workflow

Does anyone here do any type of "upsizing" as a standard step in their workflow? If so, can you explain your workflow and how you accomplish this?

I've been opportunistically upsizing photos that I expect to be printed large, but was wondering how you handle it.

I use either Photoshop CS5's built in uprezzer Image>Image Size > Bucubic Smoother - best for enlargements, or I use Genuine Fractals 6.0 if I am not in a hurry, and I want the very finest enlargement. GF 6 definitely takes longer to execute.

I do think GF 6.0 gives better results than CS5, but only a modest amount, on images with lots of high frequency data.

If using GF 6.0 I choose Image type: General Purpose, Portrait, or Landscape - high detail. I do not use Low Res jpg. Maybe that is for folks making posters from small size files.

How large do you need your prints. I have 20 x 30 and larger, printed via Smugmug, from standard files from a 1DsMKii or a 40D, without uprezzing them.

I will be the first to admit I am pretty casual about these things.
