spent a few lovely hours at my favorite watering hole with some of my favorite people, and these are some of the results... if they're not good i can always blame the alcohol.

oh, before i forget happy, prosperous and creative new year to all.

I think I like #3 for the selective focus, but I think I'd prefer it in color, if you have it.

thanks for the coments Eddy, Erin and Kate.

yeah, i'm blaming the 4 cosmopolitans; they (not me!) are responsible for the bluriness of the shots and the err... not quite true to color post processing...

as Kate suggested, i re-worked #3 in color. i'd originally stayed away from that because there were some reflections i wasn't sure i'd be able to deal with (definitely not while in a cosmo state of mind). now that that the alcohol has left the system, my brain can go back to remembering how to use layers.

I like the angle on #2 & the color tone. Also like #3 in the color version better - I like the little bits of red, blue, orange, yellow & think they brighten the photo - but most times I prefer color to b/w.
