Gitzo vs. Giotto

Comparing these brands side by side, comparably priced carbon fiber Gitzos are over $100 more. Any thoughts or comments on whether this is really worth it. Is the build quality that much better on the Gitzo? I don't want to regret my less expensive Giotto purchase if the Gitzo is truly better. Any thoughts?
