    Very nice shots Ric. Especially like the 2nd one. One wing up...one wing down. . Bravo. Some nice light as well.

    All splendid shots, Ric - and shame on you for letting them languish in some digital dungeon.
    Prior to the arrival of #4, #2 would have been my choice - interaction between multiple (complementary) subjects is often a bonus, imo.
    But the colours / crop / comp of #4 swing it for my tastes - maybe I just don't like plain blue sky as we don't get much of it here - or such subject matter :)

    Beautiful flying shots! We have 2 pairs of sandhill cranes at the Reifels Bird Sanctuary just outside of Vancouver. I have the distinction of being ambushed from behind by one while I was busy photographing another one in some tall grass. All the other photographers there had a good laugh!
