    In another thread you mentioned being at a disadvantage with the D700 and your 16mm. I'd offer up an observation that you have found a winning combination with what you're posting.

    A great shot indeed showcasing youth and old age.

    Thanks. Having only the 16mm ultra wide lens really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I had use the lens many times before but only to shoot landscape photos, never this type of photography. However, it turned out to be quite fun and I am very happy with the results.

    The 16mm creates a great perspective! The angles and the lines are so effective. Just a great characteristic of wide angle.

    I like the angle lean of the right person and the line formed by her, the three others and the statue. Well seen and taken! (and love the ultrawide)

    Great angle, great conversion and great juxtaposition of the opposite ends of the journey. I like this a lot.
