Started as a kid and still learning this wonderful hobby at the age of 61
One of my all time favorite images was taken at the bottom of those stairs, it's nice to see another perspective of the area.
Doug, it does look like this was high tide (or at least close to it) other wise you can scramble over the boulders to reach a nice, somewhat secluded little beach. (And a lot of surfers use the stairs to get to the water regardless of high tide)
