Wow! I grew up in San Diego and visited Sunset Cliffs several times. You've made it look more beautiful than it is in real life!

What a great shot. I like how it leads your eyes along the cliff, and has a wonderfully soft feel to it.

I love the stairs. Not knowing anything about this location, they were a nice surprise.

Wow, what a great spot. I see the stairs leading down to the water, I guess the tide must have been high or else stairs just lead you to a close up view of the water? Nice capture.

Wonderful image, Gary! And great exposure on what looks like it was a pretty overcast day. thumb.gif

One of my all time favorite images was taken at the bottom of those stairs, it's nice to see another perspective of the area.
Doug, it does look like this was high tide (or at least close to it) other wise you can scramble over the boulders to reach a nice, somewhat secluded little beach. (And a lot of surfers use the stairs to get to the water regardless of high tide)
