Hypothetical/serious question:
No matter the cost, if you could only carry one lens, what would be the lens you would carry?

I never go anywhere to shoot without my 70-200mm VR2 Nikkor.
On the Canon it'd have to be the 85 f/1.2, Which I do not own!

Unfortunately it died! Now it's a Sigma 17-70mm, 2.8-4.5! It is what I use 90% of the time, these days.

I chose this one for it's versatility, IS and image quality.

Well I did just this for over 20 yrs....it was a SIGMA 70-210f2.8 .......if I needed wider I just foot zoomed backwards.....now I would still opt for the Sigma 70-200f2.8...not because of the lower price but also because of the lower weight of the lens.
