I am just wondering if anyone has had any problems getting Photomechanic to login with Smugmug. I know tons of people use it and I have emailed Photomechanic for help but have not heard from them and am so frustrated with this. No matter what I type in the connection settings it keeps saying "bad server response - categories root element missing"
I have no idea what to do at this point. Any ideas???
Thank you!!

Thank you for the link to the other forum! I just tried the link you posted and it did not work, I also went to the Photomechanic site and the only download I could find was for 4.6.6. Any ideas?
Thanks so much for your help!
Jamie
If you don't like to use Beta Software check the forums and there is an update to their templates for the uploader on Camerabits site as well, I am still on 466. I am really starting to dig their uploader too..They are an awesome Company just like Smugmug..

You'll need to replace the current Uploader template in your installed Photo Mechanic application with the one included below.
On Windows XP the default location is:
C:\Program Files\Camera Bits\Photo Mechanic 4.6\builtin_templates\upload\SmugMug\
On other Windows versions the path will differ somewhat, but basically all you need to do is find out were PM is installed, open the builtin_templates folder, then the upload folder, then the SmugMug folder and replace the template-main.rb file.
Mac OS X users need to Ctrl-click on the Photo Mechanic application icon in the Finder, choose 'Show Package Contents', then open the 'Contents' folder, followed by the 'builtin_templates' folder, followed by the 'upload' folder, and lastly the 'SmugMug' folder. Replace the template-main.rb file with the one attached below.
