Very nice shots indeed. Others here know more than I do, but I think the first two are damselflies, not dragonflies. Note the spherical eyes, in contrast to the fourth one. It's hard to see from your shots, but they hold their wings differently at rest. Here is an interesting site: http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/arthropoda/uniramia/odonatoida.html. I'm partial to damselfies, myself.

Yes I known. In italian language there is no difference betweem damselflies and dragonflies such us in english. I nevere remenber this
I study order of Odonata and i prefer to use latin denomination : Zygoptera and Anysoptera
Are you appasionate of Odonata?????

well, i do chase them in the summer, but I have not done all that well with my shots. Here is a violet tail damselfly, quite common in the Adirondack mountains:



And here is an unidentified dragonfly in the same place on another day:

I don't know USA dragonflies, I study paleartic odonati but your second shot is a sympetrum. I don't know species
here a europe sympetrum very similar
