This is more a pic of an interesting phenomenon than a good piece of photography, but I do like the confusion and effect of the misthead:

    Very nice. Very cool capture on the mist. Makes me want to go surfing. Would maybe like to see the colors pumped up a little more for the water.

    I've always thought those damn things existed. And now we have proof. My wife has never figured out why I don't go out into the surf. Good catch!

    Yeah, it is an odd phenomenon. I didn't really see it until I looked at teh pic. I was just taking some sample shots to get my exposure right, and hoping to catch some surfing shots.

    Just strong offshore wind ripping some water off the top edge of the wave. It can be pretty common in some areas. It is always cool to see though:D
