I was not satisfied with my moon shot yesterday, so tonight I decided to take another shot at it:-)

EXIF:
Date Taken: 2005-09-17 22:36:04
Date Modified: 2005-09-17 22:49:50
Model: Canon EOS 20D + Tamron 70-300 LD
Aperture: f/10.0
ISO: 800
Focal Length: 300mm
Exposure Time: 0.001s (1/1000)

Additional info:
autofocus,
RAW,
mirror lockup,
remote shutter,
tripod in its lowest configuration to minimize shakes

----
It's still FAR from what I've seen around and what I would like to take, but I guess with the current glass this is the best I can do..:dunno

Enjoy moon shooting!

Nik I may be way off but since you are using a tripod why not use iso 100? From where I am the moon is so bright , your seems a tad grey? It may be my monitor tho...Love the detail you captured..
