It was held at restaurant with a mix of tungsten and window light..not too dark. What killed me was the pinkish/salmon colored walls, dirty purple carpet, and tanish celnig. WB was a nightmare since I was straight bouncing. So more BW shot then normal..thanks to whoiswolf for the lovely rich monotonish preset.

Lol!! 11doh.gif Wow I've been out of the loop for a while! I'm going to go ahead and blame that one on sleep deprivation! Well in any case happy birthday to Elijah (I wondered why the name didn't sound familiar at all) and happy late bday to the alex, the REAL little qarik:)

    Daniel.

Really great series. I love every shot. And you did awesome with the lighting and WB. Love the mix of shots. I've been to a few Korean 1 year birthdays. I'm always impressed them. As I understand it from my Korean friends, 1 year is a traditional milestone as always calls for a large celebration.

Again, wonderful set. BTW, did you shoot these with your 85 prime or did you use one of your zooms?

I used 24-70mm for most shots, the pc45mm for the macroish stuff, the 70-200mm for a few.

the rest of the shots are at:

Agreed with everything already said, great set! Your colors are very vidid, spot on white balancing, and great composition. But you never do disappoint Qarik. :)
