Trying out different filters for portrait photography. The filter I used on this photo is call "Nostalgia". I also did a little touchup in Photoshop. What are your thoughts????

I think children make nice subjects for trying filters and effects compared to us older folks.

the shot itself is nice enough but the filter makes the skin looks patchy and dirty imo

Second what Qarik said. I can deal with the greying of the skin under the chin since the eyes are so engaging, but the Camera Left eye has this orange/yellow ring around edge of the eye socket that throws it for me. Perhaps that's a strong highlight in the original, and you could even that out before applying the filter?

Looks like the filter added some blue, not a huge fan of the filter effects on eyes lips.
What did it look like before the filter.
Over all I kind of like the base shot, a few nitpicky things could have been set up better before the shot, but overall a nice photo.
    She is very cute.

Seeing this on my home display I can now see how the filter made her skin look blotchy

I am guessing there is some blochyness from some cloning that didn't come out quite right, ex. right cheek.
Hard to say for sure this monitor is not the greatest.
