    Nice capture!
The look wonderment on her face is where we all were at one time. To do it all over again! Thought provoking isn't it!

    Thanx for sharing!

Dunno--she looks a little skeptical to me. lol3.gif

Good shot, Patti, but I'd boost the blacks some. I would also consider cropping from the left to eliminate the white wall there.

Whatever her thoughts, her expression is priceless -- and you caught it well and from an excellent angle.

Here's the edit with blacks up'd and cropped from the left per Richard's suggestion

I don't like that you chopped off the ministers mouth and nose--I like the smile he had on his face as he did the blessings.

I straightened the shot and thus the loss of the priest's smile. I agree, I don't like it as much either. I wish I'd been able to take a few steps back but alas I was against the wall.

I don't think you need to straighten it--the mouth and nose tip are more important. I like the increased contrast, but I would crop still more off the left, all the way to where the wall stops being pure white. If you take the original and crop to a 3x2 ratio anchored at the top right it works nicely, and the child ends up right on one of the rule of thirds magic points. thumb.gif

I've gone a step farther and converted to grayscale to get rid of the mauve tint and also, inspired by Liz, I cranked the black sacrificing the bit of detail on the book and view of the priest's hand. Thoughts?
