I played around with some almost forgotten Christmas chocolate last night (best part was eating it:wink) Thoughts anyone? Thanks!

All are great technically, but I like #'s 2 and 4 the compositio is more interesting.

#4 works best for me. It has the most interesting angle and use of DoF. I like the way the light catches the lettering on the Ghiradelli.

Thanks for the input Pup & Patti! ... what I was having the most trouble with was the ghirardelli lettering... That same old issue of trying to catch the shadow details and highlights at the same time...

Hmmm... we just picked up those Ghiradelli squares (after X-mas clearance, ya know!) and I was thinking of doing something with them... but now... hmm... it's going to be hard to come close to the execution you've achieved with yours. I love the lighting and low angle in #4 and the 'pose' in #7.

Thanks Red... I've seen your entries, and I have no doubt whatever you did with them would be great... i really like #7 too, just not the fingerprints...

I actually like 1 and 4. I like the ha-ha-, in your face lighting in 1. I like the lettering in 4.

We have moved on to Valentine chocolate now that Christmas is over!!

#3 jumped out at me. I think it needs a little re-working but has great potential. Nice start!

Thanks for the input Chris and Kinkajou... I'm still second guessing my entry and basically agree with everyone's points... I just need to look at them again and see if one really speaks to me more. And, of course, I have another idea or two... there are never too many excuses to have to dispose of some chocolate :-)
