Facebook Like Enhancement

I like the idea of the Facebook "Like" button. But have a suggestion for an enhancement.

I have recently stumbled across two Facebook friends who have used the Like button on some of my photos. The nice thing is that this exposes my photos on their wall and lets their friends see my work.

The downside is that people can then post comments on the "link" on their Facebook wall which I might never see (even less likely to see it if the poster is not one of "my" Facebook friends).

What I think would be cool ... now that Smugmug knows who I am on Facebook ... is if it could send me a notification when someone likes one of my photos.

Smugmug knows my email address and my Facebook account. It could send the notification either way. I'd be happy to provide authentication to Facebook for smugmug to use if that is necessary. A link to the posting that landed on the user's wall would be ideal. But if that's not possible, even just telling me who the Facebook user is would be helpful.

I agree, it would be pretty spiffy if there was any way to know when someone likes a photo of mine through the smugmug page. Maybe it would would be like analytics tracking of links? You might not be able to properly track who liked pictures w/out facebook authorization, but I'd imagine you'd be able to track when people click it and for what photos a little easier perhaps?
