Engaged - Need Photographer (NY - LI)

So hey all. Long time. I havn't posted on here in a while, been way too busy at work to shoot photos... but anyway I recently got engaged... so was wondering if anybody had any photographer recomendations in the NY (Long Island) area? I like a lot of what i see on here, but need to find myself a local photographer... kinda hard to hold the camera and shoot myself.

Anyway if this is the wrong spot for this, sorry... i havnt posted in a while, so my apologies.

I'd be more than happy to fly to NY... I grew up on Long Island (Center Moriches) and could easily fly in, spend a week visting family, and shoot your wedding while out there... Wouldn't even charge a travel fee since I could just stay with family and borrow a car from them.

Just throwing that out there in case my work interests you! I'm always looking for random excuses to visit family since I don't see them as often as I'd like living so far away

Woops forgot to come back. We ended up going with Patken whos out of Lindenhurst (my home town). They gave us a nice price on photo/video and come highly recommended. Maybe next time (grin, lol)

Patken is Doug Gordon's studio. (He's pretty famous for his workshops and dvd tutorials in the world of wedding photography.)

When you posted the name of your town, he was the first person I thought of. You'll have beautiful photos.
