Stopping comment spammers possible? (and how do they DO it?)

I am getting my first spammer comments in galleries. :cry:cry How do they do it when they have to deal with CAPCHA? :scratch Can I report the email addresses and block them from accessing my site? I have comments set to approve but would rather block them from commenting in the first place. :thwak :banned Thanks.

    Hi, sorry we don't have any other way to deal with this other than what you are doing already. Comment approval on is the best way. We find that most will stop, when they don't see their efforts working.
