Haven't posted in a while, been having a lack of inspiration... Went out to a little lake/reservoir this morning and lucked out.

All shot with 70-210 f4 with a 2x teleconverter, mostly at the long end. The camera wouldn't autofocus at f8 effective (although it tried), so the focus is off a bit on most of the pics.

Butterfly soon to be fish food:

Not too shabby Brett. The osprey shots were soft but that was a tough capture. The heron shots came pretty good. I have tried a 2x TC and wasn't thrilled with it. you seemed to have done pretty well especially since you had to manual focus the shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. The TC setup is ok, considering the price. I'll probably upgrade to a nice prime when the lens becomes the limiting factor, rather than the loose nut behind the viewfinder :photo
