Oh so pretty:

And I pity:

Any girl who isn't (with) me tonight:

My first results from a day in the zoo with a sparkling new 400mm F/5.6 (I hate you Gus :wink) I hope you like em, I'm such a freak for having a soft heart for ugly creatures :lol Must be my mirror image :rofl
Thanks for stopping by, your critique is welcome! (please tell me if the images look a little flat, I'm having problems tuning my images when working on my laptop)
Cheers!

Nice, sharp. Congrats on the new lens.

I find the first three to framed a bit high--more head room than I would have thought.

I like the sneaky look in the last.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Finally you got out of the closet!
    Nice work, bruder!
Congrats on the new glass, too!
I'm still saving for a new one. But so far the kit one turned out to be a real workhorse!

Thanks for the comments David, much apreciated thumb.gif I agree on the first 2 pictures having too much space above the heads, I'm still looking for a fast way to crop jpegs because RSE doesn't support this and my workflow is so darn quick using RSE for all other minor modifications....

Seriously thats the only reason it isnt done. That is such a good lens.

That & now i dont have to use a lens cap now as it lives in its own pocket in the crumpler & the lens is always protected by the hood stuck half way out. Fast on & fast off.

Seriously, nice set thumb.gifthumb.gif and that lens has had me drooling for a year or so rolleyes1.gif Or, maybe it's old age :lol The contrast is very good clap.gif and we all know how sharp that baby is, even opened up :D Love to see how it does with the primates (especially baboons if your zoo has them iloveyou.gif )
