Hey Y'all,

When I moved down to FL from NYC most of my friends said that I would be bored stiff in FL after 57 years in NYC. Some how I've found some stuff to keep me busy and out of trouble (most of the time anyhow).

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I'm glad you're not roaming the streets Harry. I might run you over with my bicycle. Nice series H. I think I know that osprey. His cousin lives in my neighborhood.

I don't know how far you are from Sanibel Island but try to get over there to the Ding Darling wildlife refuge. There are tons of birds and other animals to shoot...with a camera.

Harry, not sure how the birds in Florida got along before you got there. Beautiful photos, all.

Retirement can be rough. I really miss driving to work during rush hour.

Those are known as common grackles down here.

The kind of traffic jam you've captured in that first image is the only kind I ever want to experience in future.
Wonderful set, but it's the first image that does it for me. Gorgeous light, composition, everything. Food must be amazingly plentiful there to support such a large population of water birds.
