A lover of all things photography.

. I've watched this a couple of times now and enjoyed it both times. It does look like a terrific gig. There are some wonderful shots in there, but IMO all the video editing effects--slick as they are--start to overpower the photography after a while. Maybe that's OK, since I don't really know what you plan to do with the video. If you want to use it as a portfolio piece, I would suggest that you make it much shorter. Remember that the quickest path to improving your photography is to only show people your very best work . I think if you had a few static moments here and there so that the viewer could savor the really killer shots, it would be a more effective showpiece.
[Sexy6Chick] I work with the Radio stations and all the venue's in the area it was not easy to get into.
Thank You for watching.
Were there any image display features or transitions you didn't use? Did you consider providing a warning to suffers of epilepsy? For my taste it's too glitzy, too long and too repetitive, and many of the images are, well, pretty average. The music's OK (but gets no credit)!
Just IMHO
Thank You for the Comments & Constructive Criticism it is always welcome Once again I am Not a video producer, I made it for fun =] As for the images there are some average ones but almost every photo was featured on an artist website and were very pleased with the work.
Generally, they are no judges of good images. Don't drop your own standards!
Personally, I have no beef with the transitions or the content. I think that there's room for this kind of presentation in the world. It all depends, IMHO, on the intended audience and purpose. It works well for me.
You mention that the subjects all liked the work. But here, some critical eyes are distracted by transition and underwhelmed by content. It's up to you to take the comments and make sense of them with your intent and needs in mind.
In the end, you come out with the same project you came in with and a broader perspective of reaction than if you'd limited your exposure to just that of the audience of your subjects or FB fans. Taken in the right context you walk away with a new perspective on your own work.
On a personal note, I'd like to know what software you used to create the presentation/movie/slideshow.
