Winter blues

I love morning light in the winter. It adds softness that belies the season and snow in shade renders blue. These beech leaves lured me off the trail and wading in snow to shoot them.



I hope you like them as much as I do.

If I may comment, Sir. I like the colors and the backlighting effect. The sharpness is also complimenting the image. However, the composition is not that strong for me. Just my opinion, Sir.

I find it so amazing that even in the dead of winter when we've had so many snow storms the leaves from fall still hold on.

thanks Mary. Beech leaves have incredible tenacity which is good for us photo type people.
