What could I have done wrong ??

Hi all......I created a new category......then created a new gallery (Historic Bethlehem). The picture I up loaded is the same size as all my other gallery pictures (1000x667 at 120). But it displays smaller and I don`t have the Xlarge option. I tried deleting the gallery ....resizing the picture and re-uploading......same problem. My gallery settings are set to Xlarge......:dunno What am I missing ?? thanks so much for any help...Peter

    Hey Andy....thanks for the fast reply.....but no...in gallery settings I have Xlarge checked.     It ether is locking out larger sizes or it is not uploading the size I give it. I tried a different uploader and got the same results. Will not display larger then 800x524.....is their anywhere other then clicking the size I want....that could be locking photos to this small size ?

    Since XL = the original size, you'd have to enable originals to see the XL, or upload the FULL size photo. We're smart like that, we won't ever expose the original unless you tell us to.

    OK Andy I guess things have changed.......I haven`t had time to deal with my site in a long time. I still don`t understand why the photo in the gallery is smaller. You are right when I check original it displays larger when I click on it......but still smalleras default in that gallery.     This last picture is in the same gallery,newly uploaded at the same size as the older ones is displayed smaller then the old ones. Why ?headscratch.gif

    Also if you look at all the older ones Xlarge is an option.....but the new upload at the same size does not have that option.
    I`m OK with having to up load larger files for a larger view.......but what I really want is to have the same size view in the gallery as the older photos .....as you can see it is a different size default then the other photos in the gallery.......they were uploaded the same size.
    The default size showing on my computer for the older shots is 1000 on the long side........on the new uploads the default size is 800 on the long side....
    Sorry if I`m being thick.......I just want the default sizes to be the same without re-uploading all the photos on my sight.

    OK I figured it out......I have to upload the photo at 1050 on the long side and every thing works fine. Things must have changed in the last year and a half. Not surprizing......hopefully I can keep things updated more now. I do all my own printing so I only upload the minimum sizes for viewing. Maybe I will change that..... as it sounds like Bay Photo does a good job printing. Maybe I could use them for smaller sizes to reach a larger market..........anyway thanks for the help Andy and sorry for being a pain..........Peter
