Take care,

I really like # 3 - the leaf frozen in the water makes for good subject matter.

Hi Jiro ..
When nature creates something .. I need to photograph it
I wouldn't of even paid attention to this probably, but the one leaf had fallen in and froze so nicely on it.
Happy to hear you liked it Jiro

I took this in the morning after walking the dog. Went to fill her bowl and saw the leaf frozen on the water. Amazing what nature will leave behind during the dead of night.
It started to melt since it was late fall and the hubby was touching it. We weren't that cold yet. Went in to get my other lens and came out to see him looking down with a sad look on his face. There at his feet were tiny pieces of ice It looks thicker in the photo then it was. Less then a 1/2 inch thick.
Now we just need to get Craig to photograph some of the ice on his dogs water .. I hear he just breaks it so they can drink
Take care Tom ..

Hi Denise ...
Happy to hear these made you smile
#3 is my favorite too.
After it broke I tried to re-do what nature had done on it's own. Couldn't do it.
Thanks for commenting Denise

WOWSER!!!
These are absolutely Stunning Mary, each and every one of them!!!
I think 3 is my favorite, but I also love the one against the red leaves.
As far a me taking pics, at 5am in the morning, fending off a hopping
98lb Chocolate Lab and a Dingo trying to herd me around, pics are the
last thing on my mind, plus I've been thinking of getting them a heater to
keep their water thawed so I don't have to do it
Really a wonderful series, well seen and captured!!

Hi Craig ...
Carry a video camera with you at 5am .. I wanna see those dogs at feeding time <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/rolleyes1.gif" border="0" alt="" >
A heater is a good thing for the dogs water since they're outside dogs. Ours is just used in the backyard for her to drink from whenever she's out there. The birds use it more then she does. Ty's to domesticated (spoiled) .. she likes inside water with no floaters
Glad you liked them Craig ... I should of posted them bigger. The one with the red leaves is really good. You can see the texture of the red leaves then.

Hi Lauren ...

I'm just happy my hubby had on his good black gloves and not his old work ones in #3.
One never knows what they'll find in their dogs water bowl
