Uploading problems

Had no problems with uploading or using Send to SmugMug until December...since then have not been able to upload anything using any type of uploader. Saw Star*Explorer today for the first time...anyone have any feedback? Thinking of trying it but apprehensive at this point. Hoping it will solve my upload problem(s).
By the way, I use Windows XP, IE and Kapersky Internet Security. Have tried uploading with and without Windows and Kapersky firewalls enabled. Losing money here and need help; advice. I either get a "fail" message or if using drag & drop, it just sits there and doesn't do anything. Maybe I'm doing something wrong that's obvious to one of you out there. Thanks!

I'm trying the shahine.com that was suggested, but I have done every check that is suggested on the FAQ's page for pros. I have not had any troubles with my uploads until this past weekend. The upload is taking FOREVER . . . literally I was trying to upload about 200 hi resolution (300ppi) images yesterday and after about 12 hours only 38 had uploaded. I don't know what to do! this is killing me! Please advise.
